Children and Youths
Two children are entitled to travel free of charge in the company of a paying passenger until the age of 7 years. Youths are entitled to travel on a youth ticket until the age of 26.

Senior Citizen
Persons who are 65 years and over. See price list.

Family ticket
2 adults and up to 4 children/youths are entitled to travel on Saturdays, Sundays and Weekends over a 24-our period (from 04.00-04.00) for the price of an equivalent adult and child ticket when payment is made in cash or using a travel card. See price list.

Students
Students with valid student identity cards are entitled to student discount travel cards, called Student Travel Cards (county travel card including express travel entitlement). A valid student identity card is one of the following: CSN card, Mecenat card, Student card and LiU card. For those students who have not yet received their student identity card, a temporary Student Union membership card and ÖstgötaTrafikens temporary proof of entitlement issued by the place of study can be used. Contact the Student Union (Kårservice) if studying at Linköping University or respective school if studying at Upper Secondary School (gymnasium), KomVux or similar.

Payment of receipt or other documents relating to payment cannot be used as travel documents. Student Travel cards must bear the name and date of birth of the holder in permanent and clear writing. They are personal to the holder. Identification documents and a valid student identity card must be produced on request at the time of travel and always shown at the time a new card i purchased or the beginning of a new travel period. Student Travel cards can be purchased only at permanent sales outlets. Cards can be loaded or topped up at permanent sales outlets and in buses equipped with ÖstgötaTrafiken ticket machines.
