Fares and tickets
Tickets can be purchased at our sales outlets or onboard the train, bus or tram. If you pay onboard try to use the correct money as the driver or ticket collector may not be able to change notes of a higher value than 100 kronor. Tickets must be retained throughout the whole journey.
Duties on cash payment
If you pay cash onboard our buses or trams in Linköping and Norrköping a duty of 20 kronor will be added to the ticket price. After a series of incidents (robbery) we have introduced charges on cash payments in our attempt to remove cash from our vehicles.

Discount ticket
Discount ticket can be purchased onboard or at any of our sales outlets. The discount ticket is a plastic card equipped with at magnetic strip which, when passed through the ticket machine, registers its use and the price of the ticket is removed from the value of the card. The discount ticket can be used by one or more travellers at the same time. Both cash tickets and discount tickets are valid for an unlimited number of journeys within the same hour.
Travel cards
These are the best way to travel. Travel cards offer the traveller a choice - valid for a longer or shorter period, over a larger or smaller geographical area and designed to suit the needs of the individual traveller. For example you can choose to buy a season ticket for a larger area surrounding the inner city or for the whole county. A 30-day travel card entitles the bearer to unlimited travel within those 30 days, one person at the time from the date the card is stamped.
Short time travel cards
These are for a 24-hour period and entitle the traveller to unlimited travel within that time. One person at a time can use the card. Valid for both normal and express traffic.
A 15-day card entitles the bearer to unlimited travel, one person at a time, for at total period of 15 days. These 15 days do not have to be used consecutively buth within a 60-day period. A travel day is counted as 20 hours starting from the time of your choosing.
