Purchase your ticket with a text message (sms)!

You can purchase a full price ticket for the urban areas of Linköping, Norrköping, Motala, Mjölby, Finspång and Åtvidaberg by sending a text message. You have to pay the cost of sending a text message, in addition to the cost of the ticket.

Register prior to using an sms ticket

Registration is required before travelling with an sms ticket for the first time. Visit www.smsreg.me (only available in Swedish) to complete the registration.

The person must be an adult, private person with a Swedish social security number. During the registration you can either choose invoice or credit card as your payment option. A credit card must have been issued from a Scandinavian country and use a so-called 3d secure. When invoice is selected a credit report will be conducted.

How do you get the ticket?

Send a text message to 070-091 0091 just before boarding the vehicle, and within a few seconds (not more than two minutes), you will receive an answer that serves as your ticket.

Sms tickets are only valid in urban traffic, i.e. routes 1-257 in Linköping, 115-166 and trams in Norrköping, 301–331 in Motala, 355-357 in Mjölby, 187 in Finspång and 284-287 in Åtvidaberg.

This is what you do

  • Register your mobile phone at www.smsreg.me prior to your first trip.
  • Send the relevant code by text message to number 070-091 0091 . Large and small letters and spaces are accepted.
  • Wait for a text message response. This is your ticket.
  • Show your text message response to the driver when you go on board.
  • Save the text message for the entire length of the journey, in case there is an inspection.

Important to know

  • Purchase your sms ticket just before you depart.
  • Do not go on board until you have received your sms ticket.
  • Sms tickets are valid for 75 minutes from when you receive your text message response. 
  • If there are more than one people travelling, send a text message for each ticket.
  • If you transfer to another line during the valid time, show the same text message response.
  • Sms tickets are only valid for travel in urban areas.
  • Save the telephone number in your mobile, so you always have it available.
  • Sms tickets are only valid in the mobile, with the SIM card that they were ordered from.
  • You can not use the same sms ticket as part payment if you want to travel further with other buses that go outside the urban area, or with the commuter train. Sms tickets are only valid on the above-mentioned urban routes, not on other buses that pass through the urban area.
